About
The Living Lab Wheel is a step-by-step framework designed to guide collaborative processes in addressing sustainability challenges. This framework was developed through a comprehensive meta-review and the evaluation of empirical cases that applied the living lab approach.
The Living Lab Wheel has undergone iterative testing and refinement through the establishment of three living labs in Norway, Ireland, and Portugal. Each of these labs was co-led by a university and a local decision-maker, ensuring the framework was shaped by both scientific rigour and practical applicability. As a result, the Living Lab Wheel has been designed to be both user-friendly and effective in tackling socio-ecological challenges across diverse contexts.
It is important to note that the Living Lab Wheel is not a finished product. We anticipate further refinement and improvement as lessons are learned from its application in various projects. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us enhance the framework. If you have any comments or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us at livinglabs@uit.no.
